  • The First Suzuki EV

    The BEV powertrain consists of the highly efficient eAxle that integrates the motor and inverter, along with the lithium iron-phosphate batteries designed for safety and reliability. It achieves the characteristic nimble acceleration from a standstill and sharp acceleration during overtaking from low to high speeds.

    The design theme is High-Tech & Adventure, embodying the advanced feel of a BEV and the robust nature of an SUV, inspiring a sense of adventure. The exterior features a striking design characterized by large-diameter tires and a long wheelbase, while the interior incorporates an integrated display with advanced equipment and tough-looking panels and centre console.

  • ALLGRIP-e

    ALLGRIP-e is an electric 4WD system that utilizes Suzuki's expertise in fourwheel drive technology, featuring two independent eAxles at the front and rear. This system not only provides powerful performance but also allows for precise control with excellent responsiveness. Additionally, it includes a Trail mode that enables smooth escape from rough terrain by applying brakes to spinning tires and distributing drive torque to the opposite tire (LSD function).

We are excited to announce that Suzuki have revealed their very first all-electric vehicle, the Suzuki e Vitara. The e Vitara SUV features a design that combines a sense of advanced technology and strength, a BEV powertrain that delivers a nimble and sharp driving experience, an electric 4WD system ALLGRIP-e that provides not only off-road capability but also powerful performance, and a newly developed platform HEARTECT-e specifically for BEVs.

Contactless Buying

Blackshaws offers contactless buying so that you can select and purchase a vehicle from the comfort and safety of your own home.  Below is a short video explaining some of the interactive features on our website and then below that a simple guide to contactless buying at Blackshaws.  It will take you through the various stages of the process.  At any point please feel free to give us a call if you have questions or would like some advice.  Our Alnwick Sales number is 01665 602202 and our Morpeth Sales number is 01670 719478.

 

 Search for a vehicle The first stage of our contactless buying process is your vehicle search.  This could be a brand new Suzuki, MG, SsangYong or Isuzu vehicle in which case you should visit the New Car pages of our website.  Alternatively, you may be looking for a Used vehicle in which case you should visit Used Cars so that you can browse through all the vehicles we have in stock.
 Part exchange valuation During your search process you may want to find out how much your current vehicle is worth.  Therefore we have instant valuation buttons on all our New and Used car pages.  Simply click the button, enter a few details about your vehicle and you'll be able to get an instant valuation.
Video Presentation Once you have narrowed down your search you may like to see further images of your selected vehicle.  To help with your purchase decision we can provide you with a personalised video which could include close ups of any parts of the vehicle that you would like to see in more detail. We can also arrange a self test drive at your home or place of work if you live within a 30 mile radius of our dealership.
 Virtual appointment Before making a final decision many of our customers value a discussion with our friendly sales team.  Therefore we're now offering Zoom appointments which can be booked by phoning Alnwick 01665 602202 or Morpeth 01670 719478. Alternatively you can click the Zoom appointment buttons on all our New and Used car pages.
 Reserve online If you've reached a decision about the vehicle you'd like to buy you can now reserve your vehicle for £99.00 in our Virtual Showroom which is located in the top right of all our Used car pages.  This will take you to a secure online payment portal and a member of our Sales Team will contact you to finalise your purchase.
 Apply for finance Once you enter our Virtual Showroom you can also apply for finance for your vehicle.  Simply follow the instructions on the screen and supply the required details including your address, work history and bank information.  The whole process can be completed within 7 minutes.
 Electronic paperwork As part of our contactless buying experience all paperwork can now be handled electronically.  Once you decide to proceed with your purchase you will be sent various documents which can be signed remotely after you've had time to fully check everything in the comfort of your own home. 
 Home delivery Once you've made your purchase we can arrange to have your vehicle delivered to your home.  We charge £1 per mile (minimum charge £20) and we can deliver anywhere in the UK (mainland only).  We can also arrange a follow up video call if you have further questions about the controls on your new vehicle.
 Click & collect Alternatively you may prefer to use our socially distanced click & collect service.  Our Sales Executives are required to maintain a safe distance during the collection process and your new vehicle and keys will be fully sanitised prior to collection.
